Job purpose

Working as part of a design team, the Trainee Designer assists with the production of engineering design deliverables.

 

Duties

Design deliverable draughting as directed, and within expected capabilities and/or training.

As building, and input to project close out activities as directed, and within expected capabilities and/or training.

Assisting with other, general project activities, within capabilities and/or training, when requested to do so.

Ensure all Company assisted training is passed and completed in agreed timescales.

Responsible for ensuring professional development is maintained and identified competency requirements are undertaken in a timely manner.

Attention to safety.

Adherence to the Company Integrated Management System.

Awareness of with quality assurance, health and safety and environmental policies.

Awareness of PD&MS QHSE principles.

Ensure unsafe activities are challenged.

Adherence to the requirements of the best practice standards recommendations and processes in the undertaking of duties.

Awareness of PD&MS values.

Skills / Experience required

Minimum of 3 standard grades (or equivalent) at grade 3 or better including, Maths, English and a Science/Technical subject

NC or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline

Basic training in Autodesk design products
