Hook Up & Commissioning

Our hook-up and commissioning (HUC) service offering is a combination of our construction, completions and commissioning service, and geared towards optimised hook-ups for our customers.

PD&MS can provide experienced HUC personnel who are familiar with the intricacies and challenges of both large-scale and small-scale hook-ups.

We have a suite of processes and tools to manage large-scale hook-ups, including: yard build, yard completion and release, carryover identification and management, optimised hook-up strategies (e.g. coiling of cabling at interface points for plug-and-play hook-ups), and optimised start-up and handover.

In terms of capital project hook-ups related to brownfield work, such as new module installations or subsea tie-backs, PD&MS has a good track record in the management of these activities using our established construction, completions and commissioning capabilities (as discussed elsewhere in our site).
