PD&MS Group company Synergie Environ have reached an important milestone in a first of its kind build on a new Anaerobic Digestor (AD) reactor vessel that will create green energy from waste.
The client Sterling Pharma in Cramlington commissioned the engineering team at Synergie Environ to develop the project, which will be managed from feasibility to commissioning.
The first of its kind in the UK, the AD plant will uniquely use the plants liquid waste feedstocks with high organic content and convert them into clean, green energy, cutting carbon emissions substantially and providing green gas sufficient for hundreds of homes across Northumberland.
“This represents a key stage in the construction of the project as the main reactor vessels have now been completed. We now look forward to building out the other aspects of the mechanical and electrical installation to complete this exciting and ground breaking project."
