Simon Rio

Simon Rio, Chief Executive Officer

Simon joined PD&MS in 2006 and has progressed from project engineer, operations manager, general manager, and managing director to CEO in his eight years with the company. He has more than 22 years’ experience in the oil and gas and civil construction sectors and has a proven track record in managing varying sizes and complexities of brownfield modification and upgrade projects, including fixed platform drilling facilities, production facilities and mobile drilling units.

Frank Herlihy

Frank Herlihy, Chief Financial Officer

Frank has spent two decades as a chartered accountant with 15 years’ experience in senior positions at Grant Thornton, KPMG and Dow Schofield Watts where he specialised in corporate finance. Frank joined the Wilton Group as chief financial officer in 2011 and transferred to a full time role as CFO for PD&MS following the demerger two years later. Frank is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants In England and Wales (ICAEW), a Member of the Corporate Finance Faculty, and a Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI).

Mark Lunney

Mark Lunney, Chief Operating Officer

Mark has a reputation for successfully leading teams and delivering projects on time and within budget. His track record has played an integral part in several major roles throughout his career and prior to being one of the founding directors of PD&MS in 2002, Mark was part of the small team responsible for the design and construction of the BP Clair Drilling Facility where his confident management of multiple international vendors ensured drilling equipment was delivered in line with the requirements of this major project. Mark cites the successful growth and development of PD&MS as his proudest achievement since beginning his career in the oil and gas industry over 20 years ago.

Ken Brebner

Ken Brebner, Executive Director, Strategy and Growth

Ken’s 30 year career in the oil and gas industry began in the drilling sector at Dan Smedvig. Before joining PD&MS in March 2015, he was responsible for business development activities across Europe for Amec Foster Wheeler. Ken has held a number of senior roles offshore in the UKCS before moving into a number of onshore based positions. During his time working in the industry Ken has developed an infinite knowledge across a number of key disciplines including business development, commercial, brownfield engineering and asset management. He is an active member on a number of industry bodies including the Energy Industries Council and the Offshore Contractors Association.

Norman Murray

Norman Murray, Operations Director

Norman has more than three decades of experience in the oil and gas industry in the UKCS, Western and Central Europe, as well as Azerbaijan regions. He has over 23 years’ experience in project management, development, implementation, execution and construction management, covering both a wide range of small modification work to large scale Brownfield EPC campaigns. During these capital intensive projects he oversaw the work from bid to conception, and the engineering of offshore projects. Prior to joining PD&MS in 2012, Norman worked with a major international drilling contractor, where he held a number of senior management roles.

Kevin Peake

Kevin Peake, Country Manager - Baku

Kevin joined PD&MS in September 2014, quickly progressing to Engineering Director in October 2015 and thereafter moving across to Baku to take ownership of the office. Holding over 35 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry, Kevin started his career in Piping and Mechanical engineering design moving into management positions and gaining over 20 years’ experience of managing multi-discipline teams of engineers and designers, in the UK and numerous overseas locations. He has a proven track record of delivering technically sound design in compliance with standards and procedures, whilst ensuring best design practices are considered to allow safe and efficient operation and maintenance across multiple EPC projects, covering Greenfield and Brownfield projects. Kevin holds a ‘Master of Engineering’ Degree and BSc (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering, Kevin is also a Chartered Engineer and Member of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers.
